ATTACKING
OPPOSING VIEWS
IS
INTOLERANCE, TOO
Most of us agree that intolerance is bad
regarding race, religion and so on. Debating
tricky issues like the economy, we might
consider tolerating disagreement.
Attacks on the tea party call them ignorant
and uninformed, escalating from there to
"terrorists."
Before dismissing "them," consider that the
U.S. debt now equals our annual GDP, the
result of profligate spending funded by
borrowing over decades. Nearly everyone,
including the president, considers this
trend unsustainable but if no one pressures
the politicians, they will continue driving
down the same debt-end road. Democrats and
Republicans.
The tea party groups are glancing ahead. Is
that so terrible?

MY FEDERAL BUDGET FIX
Superfluous Departments
Specific unconstitutional, unnecessary and
detrimental bureaucracies that could be slashed
with no ill effects. Shut the government once a
week, so everyone can see which departments are
a total waste of resources. Or that most of them
are.

Federal Bunko

"Why have prices gone up and packages of goods
become smaller? Because the dollar buys less today
than it did in September 2008. And why is that?
Because the government has borrowed from the
Federal Reserve, which has created money out of
thin air and, thus, devalued all the dollars
already in circulation."
