My father turned 90 years old in September. In the past,
when I got excited about an upcoming election, he said
something wise. It won't matter. "Nothing will change."
Dad based that observation on surviving numerous
elections and their results. He was right, if you sub-
scribe to the view below ["TWO ARE ONE"] that the
two parties
are nearly identical.

Insurance provider AARP announced they are raising premiums from 8 to 13 percent. They were big supporters of Obamacare because they said it would keep premiums down. Now they say premiums would have gone up more without the new entitlement, one of those claims no one can prove. Like most newspapers in California, AARP are basically Democratic party apologists. |
