How the DNC
sees the tide ebb
seriously, here's
Chairwoman Deb!

Representative Allen West considers DWS "the most vile, unprofessional, and despicable member of the US House of Representatives." While that may be true, there are several contenders for these titles, as West will learn as he gets to know his colleagues.

Fighting to maintain Demogogracy on the budget.

“President Obama has vowed to veto this bill which ends the Medicare guarantee and incredulously [sic] the gentleman from Florida who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of this plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries.  Unbelievable from a member from South Florida.”
— Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Congresswoman from Florida
and DNC head

Democrats love their entitlement programmes, but cannot deal with their shortcomings.

Nor can they accept anyone recognizing their failings, even Congressman West from South Florida.

It cannot be repeated often enough for Debbie baby that no one is proposing to scale back current Medicare benefits, such as they are.  No one, unless you count the half trillion dollar hit from Obamacare, which uses double accounting sleight-of-hand.

DWS has viewed that "pushing granny over the cliff" video too many times.

Misdirection

You are a

Rather than discuss the issues, Wasserman Schultz's buddies rely on their fallback position: charging Sexism.  No sense of irony that had their parties been reversed, Blacks would be charging the congresswoman with racism.  After all, if you listen to the remarks, she belittles Allen West, condescendingly calling him a "gentleman."

Her comments were made on the House floor.  His were in an e-mail to her, which she made public.  To be fair, he CCed Nancy and others.  He figured they don't read bills they vote for, they probably don't read e-mails.

Representative Carolyn Maloney of New York said that if West, "had given those comments on the floor of the House of Representatives, his words would have been taken down and stricken from the record because his words were nothing more than personal attacks, and the rules of this Congress do not permit personal attacks.”

Ridiculous!  Had they been made at my house, I'd have offered the Colonel a shot of my best bourbon.  The fact is that Debbie Wasserman Shultz is head of the DNC because of her fundraising ability.  Her digs at Representative West were an excuse to raise money.  Last time I heard, it is illegal to campaign from government property, whether it be the White House, a representative's office or the Capitol building.
